Work in Northern Ireland?

Doctors for Choice NI was established in 2019. We are a group of Northern Ireland clinicians campaigning for UK wide decriminalisation and provision of free, safe, legal abortion in Northern Ireland. We aim to:

  • Advocate for women and people who can get pregnant in their right to choose abortion as an essential part of their reproductive healthcare​

  • Campaign for access to high-quality abortion services and sexual and reproductive health services.

  • Provide evidence-based information on abortion for the public, medical students and healthcare professionals. We also advocate for better education in schools on sexual and reproductive health and relationships.

  • Provide support to clinicians on the issue of abortion.
