🚗DfC Student Roadshow🚗

The DfC committee delivered a hugely successful Abortion Care Conference for healthcare students this February.

The day started with morning lectures:

📃UK abortion law / provision

💊Clinical aspects of abortion

❌Abortion stigma and respectful care

In the afternoon, we held workshops:

⭐Clinical communication

⭐Hands-on MVA practical session

⭐Using videos for advocacy

We finished the day off with an inspiring providers' panel 

Student feedback was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting how valuable and insightful these sessions were! 

Following such fantastic feedback, we're excited to launch a 🚗Student Roadshow🚗!

We'd love for our members to bring an adapted version of the conference (replacing the video workshop with a workshop on patient perspectives) to their own regions and help expand access to abortion education.

Everything is ready to go - making it easy for you to deliver an impactful event to medical students near you!

👫Practical help to run your own event, including help to recruit local co-organisers and  speakers/panellists.

We recommend running the roadshow on a Saturday in November, December, January, February or March.
