🚗DfC Student Roadshow🚗

The DFC student roadshow is an adapted version of the hugely successful Abortion care
conference for healthcare students DfCUK ran in February 2026.

DfC will be touring the roadshow around the UK in academic year 2026/27 and we are looking for
student and HCP organisers to run the day at their local medical school!

DfC will provide:

💻Ready-made PowerPoint slides.

🗣 Workshop materials, including MCA kits and funding for papayas/dragon fruits.

👫Practical help to run the event, including help to recruit local co-organisers and speakers/panellists.

At each medical school we recommend forming a local organising team of at least two
medical students and two local abortion providers.

The team would need to book appropriate rooms for the roadshow  – a lecture theatre for the day and two
additional seminar rooms for the afternoon (ideally one would need to be suitable for an MVA workshop)
and source the papayas/dragon fruits for the MVA workshops. 

We recommend running the roadshow on a Saturday in November, December, January, February or March.
